Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport and passing through the immigration process, you will be welcomed by our safari driver who will, brief you shortly and transfer you to the booked hotel. In the afternoon, you will relax at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Hotel des Mille Collines (Mid-range) Meal: Dinner
Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time +2hrs
Today you will be picked at your lodge after completing your morning breakfast and head for a Kigali city tour and visit the Kigali genocide memorial ground, and have lunch before being transferred to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park where you will your dinner and overnight stay at Ingagi Park View Lodge (Mid-range). Meals: FB
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will be briefed before you enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience you will return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, spend the afternoon with cultural experience at Iby Iwacu cultural center. dinner and overnight stay at Ingagi Park View Lodge (Mid-range). Meals: FB
Day 4: Golden Monkey trekking and Transfer to Gisenyi
After having your morning breakfast, you will head for golden monkey trekking, which is almost same as gorilla trekking procedure but less hectic. Return have lunch, before transfer to Gisenyi, and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel(Mid-range). Meals: FB
Day 5: Boat ride and transfer to Kigali.
Have a morning breakfast, check out of your lodge, and transfer for boat ride on Lake Kivu, which is roughly 2 hours, and later return and drive to Kigali, have lunch and if time allows, head for more Kigali city tour by visiting the local market and art shops, before you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your evening flight.
