Activities
Itinerary:
8:00 AM – Meet Your Guide: Meet your guide at the entrance of Gishwati Forest and begin your adventure.
9:00 AM – Start Hiking: Embark on a scenic hike through the lush green hills of Gishwati Forest. Your guide will take you on a route that passes through stunning waterfalls and scenic viewpoints.
11:00 AM – Visit a Local Farm: Stop at a local farm and learn about traditional agriculture practices in the area. See how crops like tea, coffee, and bananas are grown and harvested, and taste some of the local produce.
12:00 PM – Lunch Break: Take a break and enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of nature.
1:00 PM – Cow Experience: After lunch, visit a local cow farm and learn about traditional cow-keeping practices in Rwanda. Meet friendly farmers and see how cows are milked and cared for, and taste some of the fresh milk and cheese.
2:30 PM – Continue Hiking: After your cow experience, continue your hike through the stunning hills of Gishwati Forest.
4:00 PM – Return to the Entrance: Arrive back at the entrance of Gishwati Forest, where your guide will bid you farewell, however if you camping you will be taken to the camp site
